Sister Sister star Tamera Mowry tearfully told Oprah Winfreys network that her marriage to Fox News correspondent Adam Housely had earned her scores of racially-tinged abuse on Twitter and elsewhere.
See, this is where I get emotional, because its hurtful, Mowry said on Oprah: Where Are They Now. Because when my husband and I are so openlywere fine with showing love. Love. But people choose to look past love and spew hate. Thats what hurts me, because Ive never experienced so much hate ever in my life, ever.

What black liberals hate the most are seeing educated black women who are proud of their Christian faith and refuse to be on the leftist plantation
Ive seen their reality show a few times, I believe their mother is white and their father is black so yes they are biracial
The light-skinned blacks are the worst of all in that area. Like they have to overcompensate for something.
Not Guilty.
This needs to be openly discussed among many black people, especially black women. It is a very old war. Lena Horne knew about it too. It’s one thing to be proud of ones traditions and cultural heritage, its another thing to actively work at destroying somebody joyful marriage because they married outside of their race. Lighten up ladies, pun intended. We all live in the same world, no more time for gang type thought patterns. Control your own life, admit you have no control of hers. Pray a little harder for humility and clarity.
She’s beautiful and talented; he’s smart and handsome. I think they make a wonderful couple. Best wishes to ‘em and prayers for their marriage to have many years of joy and blessings!
They’re both working; they seem to be doing well—whatever happened to the approval of Americans for a good work ethic? Seems like we are stuck back in the civil war days and can’t get past our ugly natures. Or maybe it’s just envy: people who succeed or look happy often threaten the miserable states of others, so those miserable souls retaliate by being mean and hateful. We humans are such a mess!!!!
It's really hard to make a generalization like that stick. While there are some Black men who feel that way, I don't get the feeling that it's the majority opinion in the Black community -- half of whom are women after all.
Obama with a White wife wouldn't be as popular among African-Americans as he is. And Jay-Z (or whatever he calls himself) wouldn't be more popular or well thought of if he had married a White woman. Things are indeed harder on Black women who marry out, though.
I suppose it means that Obama’s mother was “the black man’s whore”, at least according to the people who’ve been attacking Ms. Mowry.
Because “race” is no longer about skin color, and now is everything about culture.
Yet they celebrate two dudes or two dikes getting hitched.
What is wrong with these people???
I guess the old laws were bad because white people wrote them and they thus implied Blacks weren't "good enough" to be married to whites. But I take it such laws written by Blacks implying that white people aren't good enough to be married to them would be considered "left wing" instead of "right wing."
Did I get that right?
...no Orca sympathy...
Mowry was born in Gelnhausen in then-West Germany. Her mother, Darlene Renee Mowry (née Flowers), managed her children's careers even when they were in the group Voices, and also worked as a security guard. Her father, Timothy John Mowry, was in the U.S. Army at the time of her birth, and later became a custody officer/jailer with the City of Glendale Police Department, when the family moved to California.[1][3][4]
Her father, who is caucasian, has English ancestry, and her mother is of Afro-Bahamian descent.[5] Her parents met in high school, in Miami, Florida. Both joined the U.S. Army, and both would eventually reach the rank of Sergeant.[6] Her family is "close-knit" and "deeply religious",[4] and the sisters became born-again Christians when they were eight years old.[7] She also has two younger brothers named Tahj Mowry, an actor, and Tavior Mowry, who plays college football for University of California, Davis. Tamera Mowry is the older twin by two minutes. Tamera was born at 4:30pm, followed by Tia at 4:32pm. In July 2013, Tamera revealed that she did not lose her virginity until she was 29 due to her being a devout Christian, and that after she did it, she felt guilty and committed to staying celibate until marriage.[8] She married Fox News Correspondent Adam Housley[9] after dating for almost six years.
The couple married on May 15, 2011 in California's Napa Valley. The couple has one child, a son named Aden, born on November 12, 2012.[10]
IMO it's always been about culture. Only the paint job is different nowadays.
Everyone is biracial.
Everyone
Maybe these people need to take off their Klan hood and wake up to the 21st century.
The vast majority of Blacks in America are "openly devout chrstians," but that doesn't stop them from hating their co-religionists, putting race ahead of religion, and supporting every plank in the liberals' deviant platform.
They are trashing her because she is married to a Fox News reporter..that really sticks in those liberals crawl, that not only is she married to a white man, but someone who works for Fox News
It doesn’t take a DNA study to look around and see that very few American blacks have a genetic tree that goes only directly back to Africa on both sides and doesn’t take some branches that include Caucasians or American Indigenous, aka Native American, members.
Aren't the vast majority of Black liberals "proud chrstians" themselves? About two thirds of them have "Rev." in front of their names.
