It's really hard to make a generalization like that stick. While there are some Black men who feel that way, I don't get the feeling that it's the majority opinion in the Black community -- half of whom are women after all.
Obama with a White wife wouldn't be as popular among African-Americans as he is. And Jay-Z (or whatever he calls himself) wouldn't be more popular or well thought of if he had married a White woman. Things are indeed harder on Black women who marry out, though.

I’d be willing to bet that if Obama had a white wife he would never have been elected. He can thank Michele for whatever street cred he’s got, because deep down inside Barack Obama is a bourgeois white liberal - in essence he’s pajama boy, not John Shaft.
