She couldn’t. There was a new law and it hadn’t been thought through. It has since been fixed. And she did say it was affecting Alaska. She stated that it cost the state $1 million because state employees were searching for documents instead of doing their jobs. It was hurting the state and there was no way to stop them.
That’s not the only thing of course. There would then be a special session to enact supplementary law that would require accountability on the part of those who egregiously abuse the law, including continuing to carry on egregiously abusive lawsuits. Call it blowing a whistle on false whistle blowers.
The opposition would have folded, even that in progress.
I am not here to pan Sarah for failing to go to the mat like that with metal studs on her boxing gloves... but I would want her to remember that if God brings her to something, God will bring her through it.
