Well yeah, it did show those petty tyrants for what they were. It’s not like they could really smear someone of integrity.

But she would have been within rights to say that hey, this was basically an attack on the state of Alaska, of which she was the rightful steward at that time, and there is going to be a state of emergency declared to stop it.

She couldn’t. There was a new law and it hadn’t been thought through. It has since been fixed. And she did say it was affecting Alaska. She stated that it cost the state $1 million because state employees were searching for documents instead of doing their jobs. It was hurting the state and there was no way to stop them.
