New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has given two different timelines of when he learned of lane closures on the George Washington Bridge after they were imposed by his aides, allegedly for political reasons.
Local lanes of the bridge connecting New York City to New Jersey were diverted for five days in September, ostensibly for a traffic study. It later emerged that Christie allies had engineered the closures, which caused massive traffic jams in Fort Lee, N.J., whose mayor didn't endorse Mr. Christie. The governor said he had no knowledge of his allies' involvement in the closures.

Your donut is done. You may now stick a fork in it. Crispy + 15 minutes of fame = over.
Oh no.....The old....”I don’t remember”....Must have talked to his attorney...
I don’t think very much of Christie, and if he did something wrong or had others do wrong on his behalf he should be punished like anyone else, but...
The amazing magnitude discrepancy between the interest level shown by the MSM in this bridge lane matter when compared with the amount of interest shown in any of Obama’s scandals - especially those resulting in multiple deaths - is mind boggling.
Maybe Obama will come and walk on the beach with him to save his career. Or does that only go one direction
He’s lying
now on to what obama did with Benghazi and the IRS
All he had to say was, “The first time I heard of this was when my friend Barak called me and said he’d heard about it on the news”.
Done.
> SOS time for Karl Rove, Reince Priebus, the rest of the GOP-e and the Chamber of Amnesty.
Plan B: Jeb Bush cramdown.
Maybe Christie should consult with Obama on how he does his magic???
Lets get back to the real scandal like IRS targeting the Tea Party and other conservative business..also what about the murder of those brave service men in Benghazi..Don’t let these bastards keep covering up murder of American service men
I would like to hear Christie mention these things but guess he won’t since B.O is his new best friend..
Normally i can’t find fault with WSJ articles but this one; “The governor said he had no knowledge of his allies’ involvement in the closures. “
Then ,”Mr. Christie said at last week’s news conference that he didn’t remember where he first read about the traffic problems. “
Learning of the traffic problems and learning of his aides involvement are two different things. One does not contradict the other.
I may not be a fan of his but this is inventing an issue, something i don’t expect from this publication.
I say listen to what he has to say, even if you need to give him immunity. Let's hope this fiasco runs Christie from office. This move by Christie to close these lanes was one of the most bone-headed move by any public official I have ever read about. Incredibly bone-headed. Politically suicidal!
5 Days! This is causing a major problem in your state for 5 days and you are not on the scene, hour 2, ordering people around for answers?
OK I get it, the government does not want Christie to run for POTUS.
Now let’s investigate to see how much of Obama’s Civitas election database came from IRS, FBI, or CIA sources.
Thanks for the translation and saving me the time of reading a non story.

Yes. Put another way, the kind of thugs he hired to run New Jersey would be just the same kind of thugs he would hire to run his EPA, his DOJ, his IRS, his ATF, ... should he be elected POTUS.
The hippopotamus... er, sorry, leopard can’t change his spots.
The only why for Christie to escape this is to become the democrat he always wanted to be.
Take a “useful idiot” and subtract “useful.” What do you get?
