By his third year as chairman of the Alabama Republican organization, Mike Hubbard believed his party had just about everything it needed to win control of the State Legislature.
He had a plan: an 88-page playbook for the 2010 campaign, with detailed, district-by-district budgets and precise voter turnout targets. He had candidates: doctors, lawyers and small-business owners, most of them political novices recruited with an eye toward the anti-establishment fervor roiling the country.
What Mr. Hubbard did not have was enough money.

The NY Times editorial staff is well over 50% homosexual as a result of selective clustering over 2 decades.
The much larger part of the article you posted is focused on republicans and their sources. The small remaining focus is on democrats of which the major effort in that small part focuses on homosexuality. Most of the vacuous reporting on democrat fundraisers is without substance rather is inserted to hide the partisan nature of the piece.
This is not investigative journalism. This is a call-to-arms for homosexual groups and their wealthy benefactors to focus on states because their hold there is tenuous and highly vulnerable.
A traditional marriage amendment in the future is a certainty and the number of states needed to block it is not a lock. A handful of states that are in the blue homosexual column today can be easily flipped in the near future.
Hence, homosexual fascists are called to divert more resources to the states.
Never again give credit to the NY Times as it is a direct insult to intelligence.

Sorry, but for you to read that long article and focus solely on the small part about homosexuals tells me more about you than I want to know.
I read the long article and most all of it was about republicans getting around loopholes and the small part of it that focused on democrats was largely how they made gains on the homosexual agenda.
If you disagree I will count the instances of each and lay it all out clearly.
I stand by my summation that this is a call-to-arms for democrat activists to steer money to the states.

THIS IS A TYPICAL NY TIMES SHITTY PRODUCT. IT IS ***NOT*** INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALISM; THE NY TIMES DOES NOT HAVE THE BUDGET OR THE OBJECTIVITY TO DO REAL VALUABLE INVESTIGATIONS.
THIS PRODUCT IS ‘BUSY’ CUBICLE WORK WITH SARAH AND MONICA THROWN IN AS GOFERS FOR THE NY CITY BOY DONE WELL AT PRINCETON. BUT HEY IT’S NOT HIS FAULT OK? HE GREW UP SURROUNDED BY A SHITHOLE AND ODDS ARE 99 TO 1 THAT’S WHAT HE ENDS UP WITH BETWEEN HIS EARS EVEN IF HIS NICE FACE LOOKS LIKE UPPER EAST SIDE.
THE NY TIMES IS ON ITS DEATHBED AND ITS EDITORIAL STAFF IS A POPULATED CLUSTER OF MORE THAN 50% HOMOSEXUALS WHO RECRUITED EACH OTHER.
IF NICHOLAS REALLY WANTS TO LEAVE A LASTING MARK WITH HIS LIFE HE SHOULD GET HIS VACCINATIONS AND MALARIA PILLS AND HEAD FOR WEST AFRICA AND ROUGH IT THERE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS WHERE THE AMBIENCE OF DANGER WILL HELP HIS PRETTY FACE GROW EXPRESSION LINES OF A KILLER BEAST INSIDE HIS SPIRIT. THEN HE CAN COME BACK TO THE LAZY LIFE OF BELTWAY RINOS AND RATSHIT DEMOCRATS WHERE HE CAN TAKE THEM BOTH ON AND SELL HIS REPORTS AND VIEWS TO BREITBART, MARK LEVIN, ETC.
