Thanks Kaslin. The depths of incoherent inchoate animus toward various targets no longer surprises me, but here’s how it works in this kerfluffle — ad hominem attacks (mostly regarding his girth), saddling on to “trafficgate”, pretending to know what’s really going on, and meanwhile, the seeds are already being sown for blaming this whole “operation” — one for which those culpable are even among us — on Jeb Bush, Karl Rove, the “GOPe”, RINOs, etc etc.

This has nothing to do with punishing anyone. Beveryone bringing this story to light knows this is the way things are done by a powerful bigger than life jersey governor
It’s exactly as the author portrays, anyone taking this story seriously has this attitude. It’s the timing
I remember that well on 9/11 when the staffer whispered in GW’s ear while he sat with a bunch of small school children in Florida. When Washington, D.C., was attacked, the Secret Service was in charge of him that minute - he wasn't in charge of himself anymore until they had him to sure safety.
After S.S. had him safe (and remember they had to get Cheney safe, too, in case something happened to Bush) Bush was chomping at the bit to get back to Washington. Bush was no coward - I think he would have waded into the terrorists all by himself with any weapon he had. Hussein, on the other hand, would have bowed, welcoming them to his country (not his real country).
I have been a victim of Honolulu traffic. But it’s Bush’s fault.
This story hasn't made any sense from the get-go.
What IDIOTS would blame a MAYOR for a STATE sponsored lane closing? The Mayor cant close lanes.
Sure there is a double standard but the author is down playing the seriousness of left wing thuggery. Conservatives don’t tolerate such behavior.
I don’t think anyone seriously thinks they’re going to change New Jersey.
The joke is on Priebus and the RNC thinking they can get away with pushing a Northeast governor.
Again.
And this fail will be for a different reason from the last one.
The difference is we know that Obama did nothing to punish those proven responsible for the scandals, people like Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, etc. And we KNOW that he had his own personal hand for sure in some of the scandals, like the Benghazi coverup.
You do NOT know what Christie knew, no matter how you may convince yourself you do. You are not psychic. You do not have access to hidden emails or phone conversations.
This event is already the most scrutinized event since the Kennedy murder (one of the ones where the Kennedy died, not one of the ones where the Kennedy killed). If there's evidence that Christie knew beforehand, it will be revealed. In the meantime, there's no need for you to pretend to knowledge or insight you don't have.
And Christie is done as a national candidate for any office. You can stop worrying about him.
You are VERY lucky; as ALL of them folks are driving on the WRONG side of the road!!!
True.
I won't try to argue Christie's merits or faults. That is not why he is being criticized.
Christie pal-ed up with Obama to enhance his chances at a Presidential run. The Clintons and Obamas are not pals (regardless to what the media says). Hillary is running for President. The mess in Libya (no rescue for our Ambassador) was done by Obama/Jarret to attempt to ruin Hillary.
Hillary's clan is fighting back.
They all have 'dirt', but you only see it when they have to attack each other.
I remember a time when 'mudslinging' was considered to be a negative tactic. My how time changes things(or not).
Since Obama took office, punishing political foes has become the ‘law of the land’.
In my area, there are often road or bridge closures. It snarls traffic, causes huge delays. People have probably died because of it.
Someone decided when and where these closures would occur, and the politicians usually only participate in that they give out the funds that allow it.
You don’t just take a crew onto a perfectly maintained bridge and do repairs for no reason. I suspect this is more a a political attack by the Clintons and their friends in the media than it is an attack by Christie on his opponent. How would this bridge closure hurt the ‘political foe’ ? The political foe didn’t ‘close’ it.
