McCain subject of unprecedented embarrassment
The Maricopa County Republican Committee, the states largest Republican group, censured Senator John McCain for long and terrible record of drafting, co-sponsoring and voting for legislation best associated with liberal Democrats.
This official censuring of McCain happened during the annual mandatory meeting of the Maricopa County Republican Committee. Nearly 1,500 precinct committeemen (PCs) were in attendance. The vote to censure McCain passed overwhelmingly 1,150 in support with only 351 opposed.
After McCain held several closed door town halls on amnesty last year, state Republicans expressed their outrage with his stance on rewarding illegal aliens with citizenship.
McCain betrayed the state by proclaiming his intent to "Complete the Dang Fence" when running in his 2010 primary, then turning around and pushing through last year's "Gang of 8" Senate amnesty bill that would gut border security and hand tens of millions of illegals instant legalization.
McCain also opposed attempts to defund ObamaCare, pushed to arm Al Queda-backed "rebels" in Syria, and shamed his state when he was photographed with a Syrian terrorist who had kidnapped and tortured 11 civilians.

I remember it well. I also remember how many here defended his endorsement by one very popular ex-governor from Alaska. Anyone who even questioned that was savaged also.
This embarrassment to veterans could have and should have been turned out to pasture long ago. Conservatives helped keep in where he is.
We forget that except for Reagan and Goldwater, we have had no candidate for President since 1932 who was a conservative. And in economic matters Reagan was not as conservative as Goldwater.
Encouraged to see the vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the censure.
I wonder what would happen if a state legislature were to pass a resolution voting no confidence in a sitting senator? I am thinking here of the symbolic effect.
What I remember was his energy he used AGAINST his conservative opponent and his roll over for socialism/obama. It was such a stark contrast - and he had no problem with it. He didn't care - he did what he did to save 'his seat'. He knew the WH wasn't for him - his money to run came from Soros. Juan is the liberals favorite useable 'pet'.
He IS pretty creepy...
They must be serious. Triple dog serious.
That horse ran off years ago so now they decide the barn-door needs closing?
He sold his soul long ago. Now he’s just being blackmailed for selling it.
McCain is unfit for citizenship. He’s a traitor and has been since he ejected over Viet Nam.
Conservatives helped keep in where he is.
BS!! Let the blame be where it belongs - RINO's and their support of him along with the undying support from the liberal media. He was the one who the media embraced because of his constant bashing of Bush which opened the door to obama's mantra - it's Bush's fault - trashing Bush and blaming him for everything. Refresh your memory.
!
Co-wrote largest illegal alien amnesty bill in history of the world. Fought tooth and nail to keep illegal alien gang members in our homeland. Continues to seek massive increases in the influx of third world nationals into the USA.
I’ll Bet anyone that Lindsey Graham won’t invite him to South Carolina before his Election.
We are not dealing with stupid, we are dealing with a traitor. That can't be fixed either.
Please show me where I ever said they were. You can't because I didn't. I said those who dared critique the governor's endorsement of McCain were savaged. And they were. JD was savaged also by many who defended the endorsement. That's not to say that fans of the governor were for McCain. Clear enough?
And the governor's endorsement played no part? If you believe that you're delusional.
His term’s up in ‘16.
“When does McCains Senate term end again?”
