The ice is long gone - we're at a balmy 50 degrees at the moment. Rain all day - at times heavy. I drove my daughter Mary down to her lair in D.C. late this morning - the traffic on the Interstate was moving at only 30 mph due to the intense rain - also fog.
We just had a magnificent dinner - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. I chopped up boneless chicken breasts and stir-fried them in the wok - then prepared the Alfredo sauce and fettuccine as usual. Merged them at the end. The result, if I say so myself, was excellent.
The only problem with a good Italian dinner is that after seven or eight days you get hungry again. :)

Reached 82 degrees with heavy rain. There was a tornado watch for the county, but the front passed without dropping any funnels.
