They do look like the real thing from any distance but they also have a blaze orange ring around the muzzle which is very hard to not see.

Airsoft guns usually have an orange tip at the end of the barrel, which Captain Light confirmed.

“I believe this particular handgun had an orange tip," added Captain Light. "But based on our investigation I don’t want to go into particulars and details of the position of the gun and where the officer was. It was 3 a.m., it was dark and again we haven’t interviewed this officer yet and we don’t want to speculate."

Best not let any of The King's Men see your grandson with these dangerous weapons...

They haven’t interviewed the officer yet and they don’t want to speculate, but he can state categorically that the victim had his finger on the trigger. Nice job of positively knowing what you don’t positively know Chief.

It was dark. The guy, the hand, the gun were visible, but not the orange ring. Sounds like a bad shooting.

And if someone had a real gun in this situation and killed a cop, it would probably be on page 6 of the paper.

How do you think you would react if you had a split second to decide on whether someone was about to shoot you or not?

So easy to second guess the cops when one has never been there.
