“UK Mirror” making the case for just how great it is not to have this sort of problem under Britain’s governmental care.

Our system if totally ——— up right now. Comparing anything is problematic. I’ll bet we could find some real horror stories from Great Britain’s system too, and it’s been up and running for quite some time.

As someone else mentioned, Obamacare was sold on the idea there would be no medical qualifications. Register the girl and let her get care.

Of course. In the UK she would probably wait a year or so for a test, then another 6 months for an MRI and then a year for the surgery and by then, sadly, it would have spread and she'd be sent to hospice or offered euthanasia.

They are right, in UK she would be eligible for the surgery for free. It would only take a year or two on the waiting list, and if she was still alive, and if the tumor had not metastasized, and if she had a competent surgeon and if the hospital wasn't a third world hellhole where infection and neglect ran rampant, then she would have a fighting chance.

As Churchill said on the eve of D-Day--"the terrible if's accumulate."
