[snip]The federal government will recognize the marriages of same-sex couples performed in Utah during a brief period in which same-sex marriages were allowed, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Friday.

“I am confirming today that, for purposes of federal law, these marriages will be recognized as lawful and considered eligible for all relevant federal benefits on the same terms as other same-sex marriages,” Holder said in a <"http://dailycaller.com/2014/01/10/obama-administration-to-recognize-utah-same-sex-marriages/">( video statement).

On Dec. 20, federal District Judge Robert Shelby struck down Utah’s ban on same-sex marriages. Monday, the Supreme Court halted new same-sex marriages pending Utah’s appeal of Shelby’s decision. Between Dec. 20 and Monday, hundreds of same-sex marriages were performed.

At this point I think Obama is trying anything he can to get the GOP to impeach him so he can have his race war and declare martial law. But the GOP is so cowardly that he’s growing more frustrated.

Someone prove me wrong. ... Please. Because if thats the case we are even more screwed than I think we are.

Under the leadership of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
***********************
Wrong. Harry Reid (D) is the Senate Majority Leader who shuts down everything the Republicans attempt to do to improve things.

I have long thought that there would be no election in ‘16. If there is I will be very surprised.

When I was back in school, and we were studying the French Revolution, I was horrified to read about how mobs executed the king and queen of France and hundreds of other members of the ruling class.

Now, after 5 years of Obama and his minions, I not only understand the mobs in France - I envy them. When the economy collapses (and it will). I hope the people whose lives were ruined by Obama rise up against him, and not meekly shuffle off to the gulags.

I want to see these people frog-marched to the gallows for a public execution.

Yeah, stop voting. That’ll show ‘em.

Myself, I prefer to keep fighting. We have the strength of ideas on our side, and I’m not afraid to take those ideas into the marketplace.

Don’t give up hope - we can still win elections, if we’re willing to work.

Give up hope? Naaah. I’m still politically involved. I’m just getting out of the electoral piece of it. I’m actually ratcheting up some of the other things I do.

For what you put into it in order to be an informed voter, the payoff just isn’t there. So why bother? Let the uniparty have their pageants and I’ll spend my time doing something useful.

Voting *is* useful. It’s the very soul of our grand American experiment.

Nonsense. That’s a loser’s excuse.

We need to be honest when we lose - sometimes it’s bad candidates, sometimes bad messaging, sometimes we fail to do the hard work of getting out our voters. But fantasies of systemic voter fraud let us off the hook and therefore don’t help.

........was just thinking, the two clown’s you pictured are what they are, namely, Marxists/socialists/treasonists enemies of the state............so, perhaps we should forget about holding them responsible “now”...................

......who I do hold responsible are the leaders in the house who control all committee chairmanships including the speakership? These clown’s I hold responsible “now” because they could do a lot more but are not doing it and because of that they are “letting down” the American People by not doing their jobs. Their reasons are highly suspect to me. The number one thing they could have done a year and a half ago is appoint a Select Committee.

Specifically, these “people” are Boehner, Cantor, Issa and I’m sure “others”.

And remember this: The French got rid of the problem children without the benefit of tweets, twitter, facebooks, blackberries, or even the internet. Keep your own list of traitors, particularly the ones in your neighborhood within your reach. At some point their arrogance will overcome their restraining good sense ( such that it is) and you will know what you have to do.
