When I was growing up in Queens in the 1950’s, the guy next door had his garage stuffed with tires, floor to roof, wall to wall. He parked his car on the street. We moved about six blocks to bigger house, leaving our house vacant for a while. In about three weeks, he had our old garage stuffed floor to roof, wall to wall with tires.
If majority voters in SF don’t like this law but don’t exercise their voting muscle to resolve this situation, then they can sleep in the bed that they have made for themselves imo.
You think this is bad. We have friends from out of state who bought a five unit apartment on Telegraph Hill. It took them five years of ownership to get the over 60 tenant out of the penthouse so they could use it themselves (the guy actually got a girlfriend and moved away). It took more than a year to get any of the tenants to move out, so when they went to SF, they stayed in a hotel and had to be content with having lunch on the roof. All this due to San Francisco’s arcane rent control laws. BTW, in SF you can only raise rents 60% of the actual increase in your costs.
First, we should stop prattling on about our rights because there is no such thing anymore. Nothing is off limits for these fascists. So by definition "rights" do not exist. They are a pipe dream, a fantasy we will not make safe again until we TAKE them back and make an example of those who would presume to deprive us of them.
Your Own Garage has now become the property of the city
Why would anyone live there???
Can’t be true. Has to be satire. Right?
San Francisco housing code doesn't have a section 406. So I think this is a hoax.
STORE ALL THE ILLEGAL INVADERS IN YOUR GARGARE THAT YOU LIKE!
This is a sanctuary city...
First, you have to come on to my property, uninvited, to see what I have in my garage.
Second, if you do that you are trespassing.
Third, well, you get the picture.
Get Off My Lawn!
“their own belongings in their home”
The problem is those eeevvvilll words “their and own.”
In liberal-la-la land there is no such thing as private ownership. Everything belongs to the collectivity. They just let you use it and keep the liability for it.
Their ultimate goal is complete confiscation of all private property, and all businesses. San Fran is just showing you a little of what liberals want to do.
So then, keeping a shovel or jumper cables in the garage violates the law? I see. So the law is invalid and the people who made the law are the exit end of the digestive tract.
The sheep in San Francisco should be used to being shorn by now!!!
What is you have your workshop in your garage, out past your cars? It is a big garage.
Where you store your lawnmowers and stuff, and you have a workbench to work on, and shelves to store stuff like paints, gasoline, paint thinners, propane gas? You also have your tools there.
What if you do not use your car to store a car in?
All property is theft to a Marxist.
No more “hoarding”. All will have nothing, comrade.
