It really gets me how many on here believe there is actually an eternal burning in physical hell fire.

Jesus talked about Hell. It is real. Don’t go there.

I’d be interested in hearing your perspective. Skeptical of Scripture generally? Or a believer who doesn’t think God is “mean” enough to allow this? Or do you believe that references to Hell are not meant literally but as sybolic representations of a deeper Truth? Or something else?
To: Rennes Templar
Far be it for me to contradict what the OT and NT talked about it.

It really gets me how many on here believe there is actually an eternal burning in physical hell fire. What gets you about that idea? It's certainly logical and Biblical. People don't want water in hell because it feels balmy. (see the story of Lazarus and the rich man)

Must be that bible thing.

Well, guess they believe scripture is the Holy word of Almighty God.
Why? Don’t you?

I
t really gets me how many on here believe there is actually an eternal burning in physical hell fire. You are naive to take people so literally. Some believe the above. Some think it might be true. I don't think much about hell and damnation but this demon is headed to hell. Did you see how he killed his victim? This tells me he is headed to hell

It really gets me how many on here believe there is actually an eternal burning in physical hell fire.Maybe it's all those Scriptural references to the second death and the lake of fire. Why should they not be considered literally?
To: Rennes Templar
It really gets to me how few people understand that, unlike animals, the human soul is immortal. We are given once to die in the flesh and then eternal life. The “burning” question is...where?

Amen.
Given infinite options, any 'Creator' who'd implement such a scheme is unworthy of veneration.
