I am not a bully.
Thats yesterdays takeaway line from Gov. Chris Christie, the most unforgettable quote from a New Jersey governor since Jim McGreevey in 2004: I am a gay American.
Not to mention the most memorable quote from a Republican since Richard Nixon in 1973: I am not a crook.
Im no fan of Chris Christie, not since he acted as Obamas head cheerleader after Superstorm Sandy in the run-up to the 2012 election.
Hes a RINOs RINO (Republican in name only). Gave a Senate seat to the Democrats a year early, supports in-state tuition for illegal aliens.
And what could be a dirtier trick than trying to tie up traffic, anywhere?
Call it Fat and Furious. Or Bridgeghazi. A bridge too far no, a fridge too far.
The sycophantic national media havent been this excited since NBC was trying to frame George Zimmerman with doctored 911 tapes, or 60 Minutes was forging fake but accurate memos about George Bush.
Its a feeding frenzy bad choice of words. Christie says he didnt know fat chance. Oops, I did it again. But isnt it amazing that Christies erstwhile pals in the media are more shocked about a traffic jam in Fort Lee than they ever were about a terrorist massacre at Fort Hood?
Judging from the gathering lynch mob, this is a bigger scandal than Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious, NSA, Obamacare and Solyndra rolled into one. But why? Obama shut down the national parks and now his BFF (big fat friend) is just following in his footsteps, closing off some lanes on a bridge.
A 91-year-old woman may have died, and Democrats are up in arms. Maybe they wanted one of their new Obamacare death panels to take her off the board.
If only hed been a Democrat, would Christie have been allowed to say, well, try this one on for size:
What difference at this point does it make?
That was Hillary sloughing off Benghazi last year.
But lets compare Christie to Gov. Deval Patrick. When is Deval going to have to go out and face the cameras wearing sackcloth and ashes like Christie did yesterday for 107 minutes in Trenton?
Look at the blood Devals got on his hands one child apparently dead (so far) in this DCF scandal. One murdered (so far) by drug dealers released because of Annie Dookhans crimes at Devals state crime lab. And 64 yes, 64! dead because Devals minions didnt keep proper tabs on the New England Compounding Center pharmacy in Framingham.
More Americans have died because of Framingham than because of Benghazi and that doesnt even include when Uncle Omar is out on a bat in his car.
And the medias reaction to Devals scandals? Nothing to see here folks, move along.
Poor Chris Christie, the Ralph Kramden lookalike. And now the bumkissers, rumpswabs and moonbats want to send him to the moon, Alice, to the moon.

I’d bet McGreevey’s quote goes for Patrick as well.

Agreed
And krispy kreme is sullied in the process. A two-fer!
thanks! Howie ping
that's the best thing about it all... he thought he was their darling... and now--well... he knows the truth... they used him...
That one's a keeper.
I’d think DeVal is a strong possibility for Hillary’s VP slot.
I'm appalled at Christie's behavior, and don't see how he can explain away not trying to solve the problem even if he thought his staff wasn't involved. It's another case of what Duval Patrick has done to MA, making it much less liveable...though I grant it was heading in that direction anyway.
Just like a previous "maverick", who thought he was a media darling too ....
"I am the Governer, and the buck stops here. Blame me. Then we'll see where we go from here."
Like the gentleman and citizen, Harry Truman.
