The fight for the forty two percent is on?

Since when does the GOP want to win against dems?

They are so confusing.

The sixteen year old girls I deal with are less confusing and mercurial than the GOP

They do want to win elections against dems. That's why they feel the need to lie to get votes.

They do not care about winning the issues, however, and in fact mostly agree with the democrats on almost all of them. It's why they wouldn't even try to stop Obamacare, they'd rather have an issue to run on then actually trying to stop a harmful and dangerous law from harming Americans. In fact, the more harm the better the issue for them so bring it on. And the only thing holding them back from just passing crap like amnesty is they know that in a couple of years they will have to answer to the voters they lied to. But they keep trying to bring it back up hoping they can finally slip it through without being held accountable.

If only they didn't have to answer to us, the unwashed and stupid conservative electorate, they could really get some stuff done. They don't dislike dems, they envy them the freedom to be as liberal in public as they wish and not have to whisper it in back rooms and cocktail parties.

The GOPe just want to make sure it’s the GOPe or Rat (but I repeat myself) that takes the seat. They do NOT want a conservative in the seat.
