An only slightly restrained version of Mayor McCrack, Rob Ford of Toronto, Chris Christie has depended on bluster and imposing size to intimidate and mesmerize opponents and erstwhile supporters in his ride to the big-time.
Not nearly as criminal as Robert Torricelli, but not entirely with clean hands either. New Jersey richly rewards these flamboyant personalities, but why should they inflicted upon the rest of the territory once known as “the United States of America”?
Perhaps, by now, the unfortunate residents of that tormented have come to deserve no better.
He said he finished his am workout and received from his chief of staff information at 8:50 or 8:55 am on the 8th of January. That was yesterday morning. Later in the press conference he said he had been up for 2 nights worrying about this issue. So, my question is, "Why did he worring about this the night of Jan. 7?……He had, by his own admission, not yet been made aware of this problem. So why was he up for 2 nights worrying about this. He had only known about this for one NIGHT…. not two.
Was he playing fast and loose with his words, or am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?
