Please pray for my future Daughter in Law. She has VERY Severe Tooth(Dentist says Root Canal) pain. She is 3 mo pregnant and that limits pain Meds.
Yep, I used it and liked it better than oragel or whatever that stuff is. I also would rub a tad on my sons gums when he was have an especially rough time with teething.Worked like a charm but tastes nasty! But if you’re in pain it ain’t nothin’ but a thang... :)
Have her call her obstetrician regarding pain meds that are safe for her to take. A few years ago I had a root canal on a Friday and was fine until Saturday and the pain was severe. I had leftover pain meds in the house from a prior surgery and took one and it didn’t touch the pain. My dentist had given me his home phone number so Sunday morning I called him and he met me at his office. The problem was the “occlusion” was off and all he did was file the tooth. Almost immediately the pain wasn’t as severe and it was easily controlled with prescription pain medication. Monday my face was swollen and black and blue but the pain was gradually subsiding and in another couple days I was fine. I will pray for your daughter-in-law b/c I know first hand that what she’s going through is excruciating.
Oh, so sorry!! Will say a bedtime prayer for her.
Lost one of my front teeth years ago from an unidentified infection — root canal and all. A few weeks ago it came out again and I’m in the process of getting an implant which has been horribly painful! Mouth was ripped all apart from cutting in the front and back to remove old roots and provide a “core” of healthy tissue from the back of my mouth.
I hate and despise pain meds but woke up around 1 AM in horrible, major pain from the stitches and cutting! DH found the pain meds the dentist prescribed and gladly took one for pain and swelling.
Can only imagine the pain your (future) daughter-in-law is going through, plus the early stages of pregnancy are NOT easy (been through it twice, LOL).
Wish her all the best!! — and hurry up the wedding!!
Prayers up. Look into cloves as others here have suggested. God has already provided all that we need. We just need to find it and use it. I had clove oil soaked gauze placed in 2 dry sockets after some extractions. A miracle relief. Only prob. problem was that everything tasted like cloves for what seemed like weeks. Answer, butterscotch pudding goes well with clove. Applesauce also. (hint: slightly warm the Applesauce to avoid sensitively to cold.)
Prayers have gone up.
Sent from down here to up above. May God bless your future daughter-in-law, you and your family.
God bless you, sweetheart.
There has to be an answer beyond *nothing* for pain. Call another doctor. Let’s not stop on that.
Pregnant women are injured all the time, requiring more than cloves to relieve their pain.
May God be pleased to bring relief to this suffering girl.
Are dentures even recommended, anymore?
Prayers up. I’ve also heard (moistened w/warm water) tea bags, placed on the tooth/gum, may help.
Pray that mama can endure so that baby
will be just fine. I know that will be difficult
but will give both the best outcome.
Praying for her!
Lord Jesus, decrease the suffering of Thy servant.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost we pray, amen.
Prayers up.
Bless your heart...and as a Southerner I mean that sincerely, LOL. Even getting up the nerve to go must have taken a lot, not to mention the process itself.
Prayers for you, too.
