Christie’s Waterloo

In the best possible light, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie built a top staff of lying thugs who threatened lives and safety to serve his political ends. If not, Christie is a lying thug himself.

Emails and text messages among his close aides made public Wednesday documented that in September they gleefully engineered George Washington Bridge lane closures to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee for failing to endorse their boss’ reelection.

Local officials say the gridlock they caused delayed ambulances in responding to four calls, including one involving an unconscious 91-year-old woman who later died.

Yipes! I wouldn’t want to be in the Christie family or any part of his staff right about now.

Something about him reminds me of Huey Long.

He learned about it with the rest of us—when he read it in the paper?

Yep...and the fact that the response to the initial email was simply “Got it” speaks volumes. Sounds like business as usual in Christie’s N.J.

“This stunt effectively kidnapped thousands of people for hours each day. Those responsible should go to jail.”

Yes! But no one ever even gets fired in these power-hungry cess pools of government.

All these “outraged”s and “get to the bottom of it” speeches mean nothing.

This the reason Love Chunks was set up by the Progressives to be the Republican savior. I’m surprised they took him down so soon. NSA got a hold of those emails, and in spite of denials by NSA that they would never use the data they collect for political reasons (awaiting Snowden’s next release detailing the political collections and usage), they handed it over to their bosses for use in this attack.

Well, yes, but he hasn’t made it official with the obligatory “I am joining the democrat party because I hate teabaggers and love muslims”

Just give him time. Give him time.

"I bet Christie could use a big hug from obama right now."

That's the only kind of hug anyone could give Christie.

It’s for sure that the SRM is spending more print and air time on this than Bengahzi.

He and Obama deserve each other. And even more sadly, I am beginning to think maybe my country has sunk so low it deserve the same—

Sadly, I think I have to agree. I am sure there were probably some good people in the Roman Empire. They did not have the benefit of the Internet, radio and TV. Maybe they did not quite see things the way we do. I think most of us can easily see how far the country has sunk.

Don’t fix my words. I said exactly what I meant to say. I wouldn’t vote in a primary for Christie, however if he was in a general election against a Hillary, Biden, or any Leftist I would whole heartedly vote for him in the general.

Way too many people stayed at home. If as many Republicans voted for Romney as voted for McCain, we would be in a much better position. Romney was not a conservative, but he is a damn good manager and a damn site better than Obama.

We are all suffering more than we know because of this idiot Obama and those that sat out the election because they thought that Romney wasn’t pure enough are very much to blame. Obama received 6,000,000 fewer votes in 2012 than in 2016. He was very vulnerable. Only the Republicans could have saved him by staying at home out of a fit of stupidity.

Romney won the primary, much to my chagrin. He was the top of the ticket and the only hope to turn back Obama’s horror. I wish we had better, but we didn’t.
