One-party urban areas dominated by public workers unions, bloated bureacracy, high taxes, and out of control spending, pensions and benefits generally suffer the same fate. Not even LA’s fantastic weather can change these trends.

I think San Antonio is chasing the LA model just as hard as they can. If San Antonio can’t ditch the Castro brolthers— I’m thinking it’s time for us to start thinking about moving.

I was born in downtown L.A., raised a few blocks south of the Coliseum and worked like crazy to get out of that hellhole. Moved out after college. That was 23 years ago and things have only gotten worse there...
