The action won praised from the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which offered forward research showing that black students make 36 percent of those expelled, though they represent only 15 percent of students.

Statistical drivel. They need to examine the rate of expulsion with the rate of expulsion-punishable offenses. They can break THAT down statistically and have a meaningful answer.

It's a shame that schools and governments just cannot do math.

What these kids were doing needs to drive the expulsion rate.
