Since Vladimir Putins official return to power in 2012, the Russian President seems to have set his mind on teaching the rest of the world a few simple lessons. First, that he shall not be underestimated on the international stage; second, that Moscow will keep reasserting control over what it considers to be its legitimate sphere of influence for Russia; and finally, that he shall do whatever he pleases at home. [ ]
When it comes to the honorable title of Bully of the Year, the Russian President surely triumphed in 2013. But all too often bullies fail with their homework. Russias economy is crumbling. Moscow revised downward its economic outlook in December, the fourth time it did so last year. Growth, investment and industrial output are all below previously set targets, while inflation has risen to above 6%. [
] Crony capitalism and the heavy hand of the state has led to steady brain drain among the educated Russians needed for any real economy to thrive.

I don’t need an education from you and your spam posts full of errors. I long ago decided to ignore them because they’re so full of misinformation.
A lot of folks who gravitate to politics like power.
A lot of folks who like power gravitate to politics.
Wait, that’s the same thing isn’t it.
Never mind.
When you can imprison your opposition leaders, it is amazing how much freedom you have.
Bammy and the US are not all that different from Putin and Russia, except Pouty-Pout seems to actually like his Country.
Could you please point out the errors in ETL’s posts, it is much appreciated. Thank you
I checked. Links still working.
Lol. It would be funny, wouldn't it, if this dope attempted to do it.
Thanks again for the links. Too bad we have morons among us that actually think Putin is an ok guy. I doubt there’s much if anything we can do to help these fools.
Pouty-Pout leads Russia like a tyrant, stomping on his political opposition. And that's if they're 'lucky'. Many of ended up pushing up daisies.
The schmuck just had his little feelings hurt. So he's reacting like a weasel by trying to undermine what I do, despite the fact that damn near all of what I post comes from top notch sources, and/ or is an important reminder of something most of us already knew, or were at least somewhat familiar with at the time. That's all.
My goal is to put things in historical context. Also to provide convenient ammo for people to use to shove down the throats of lefties and other misguided types such as we obvious have here, as we do on most of these Russia-Putin threads. Not to leave out the lefty lurkers in the media who 'somehow' managed to miss most of these things at the time.
“How is Putin any different than Obama?” - Cowboy Bob
“He loves his country.” - TigersEye
How could he “love his country” when he behaves like a tyrant, silencing his political opposition by whatever means necessary, including poisoning and assassination.
Yeah, like all those political critics and journalists in the Russia media and elsewhere who just "vanished" from sight, or were found poisoned or shot. Is that really a type of leadership to be admired, particularly by people who supposedly believe in free speech?
I do appreciate what you do and the info provided. I guess they didn’t want to answer my query and shed their insight.
Thanks
Bite me, dipshit.
