Exit82, I liked that. Very good! Ha ha ha...
I think you’ve noticed my love of John McCain. ;^)
I sure hope your 2014 has started out nice and continues to get better all year long.
Always brings a smile to my face to hear from you.
You must START to drink when John McCain begins to make sense.........because it would be the only hope to reconstruct the space/time continuum..........
:-)
Happy New Year back!
Six drinks in six hours is pretty light.
Have a Drs appointment next week and will start that treatment.
No American doctor will explicitly approve the Sinclair Method because they could be sued out the whatsis. The Sinclair Method calls for you to *continue* to drink, but take the naltrexone one hour before you have the first drink. Anyway, your doc may not prescribe the naltrexone, since the Sinclair Method is an “off label” useage. (In our suit-happy society, it’s easy to understand why doctors shy off from this. If they tell you “yeah, go ahead and drink” and then something awful happens, they will be on the hook.) But the way naltrexone has been approved for use in the U.S. doesn’t work. You have to use the Sinclair Method, which does work.
All that said, I have watched a loved one use the Sinclair Method VERY successfully and I really recommend it. If your doc won’t give you the naltrexone, contact River Pharmacy in Canada. They can legally send them to you, though it does take a few weeks to arrive.
Best of luck!!
Thx Hetty!
Consider the Soviet Union’s experience. At its fall a substantial portion of the male population was alcoholic. After two revolutions, two world wars and 75 years of communism what man is his right mind wanted to be sober? Who could blame him?
We’re entering a similar situation. The advantages of sobriety are decreasing.
What man in his right mind would want to be DRUNK trhough tough times????
