A long time ago, my pastor at the time (have since moved away) did a series on “Are your a convicted Christian”. The premis was, is there enough evidence in your life to convict you of being a Christian. Conversly, is there enough evidence of other activities or extinuating circumstance to the contrary?
If one applies that concept to Obama, I would say that he is a muslim.
A lot of us might have trouble defending ourselves as Christians with our poor job in handling common temptations like anger with others, money lust, flesh lust, etc. But Obama is as cool to the faith as is Al Gore with his “faith tradition” rather than actually stating he believes.
While we are a lowly lot we stand with the followers of Christ and do not mock them as does Obama and we don’t get confused and tell George Stephanopoulos that we are guided by (my) “Muslim faith”.
