Didn’t say how much the new company pays. Sounds a bit like Hostess Baking.

Amazingly the workers in this plant (before it was closed down by the original owner) were making $26/hour. No wonder it closed up. 52K per year in western Maryland is a good income. If the production were efficient and the company viable it would continue. Unions destroy companies and the following generations' prospects for the shorter term benefit of one generation. I wish it were not so.
