PHOENIX (AP) Action-movie star Steven Seagal says he is considering a run for Arizona governor.
The Marked for Death actor told KNXV-TV that he is considering a shot at the states highest office and has had a talk about the bid with the self-proclaimed toughest sheriff in America.
Too many people have dirt to throw at him.
That would be 1972. The year I graduated high school. I tell ya, we Freeps span all age groups.
I agree with the first two, but I see nothing wrong with the man being a Buddhist. That's not a disqualification in my book.
...” we Freeps span all age groups”....
And I love it that we do! We get the best minds and hearts across the board, never a stone unturned, and perspectives and debates that are full of passion. Even the arguments weld us a host of information, we learn how to fight to win!
in hollywood movies capitalism is always evil. they’d say there’s no diffrence between crony or any other form, they’re the same.
That’s enuf to kick him to the curb: NO more third-rate Hollywood actors. Make that, no Hollywood.
Not all of them. There are a few notable exceptions, like Gary Sinise.
Clay Atkins is interested in running as well....hahaha..that will be pure entertainment!
Makes ya wonder that this wasn’t planned as Obama has had so many meetings with Hollywood “players”..and they’re always invited to his various events.
Makes sense they think they can win...they have super egos, full of themselves, imagine themselves as brilliant thinkers, and a dumb downed public who votes according to how well politicians “play” their part, with no mind to look further then the show. So they fit right into the politicians we already have.....their are no standards to measure their “performances” today.
That is so true. It's one of the things I most love about being a conservative. Even though we all hold certain timeless principles in common, we're all free individuals, unconstrained by the borg-like groupthink of the left.
I’d say no. Isn’t he from Louisiana, supposedly? I mean, if we’re supposed to believe his reality show? It annoys me when someone switches states to run for office, even if they are a Repub.
Eco-nut with baggage. If he runs as a Repub, the baggage will be thrown in his and our face. If he runs as a Dem, though, they are immune so it might work. But not for me.
After Arnold S. I believe we need policians to run things—people who know what they are doing. Would you hire an actor to fix your plumming? I don’t know if Seagal is a Republican or a Democrat—all I know he’s out of work and has made some bad movies of late. I know he’s a Bhudist or something. I think this is a stunt—like Trump—to get interest and maybe a job in a movie.
I agree....however, there really isn’t much difference between the slime in Hollywood and that of Politicians. ‘Actors’ who go to Hollywood become as drug infested and corrupt as Politicians do when they go to Washington. They all seem to be cut from the same mold and quickly succumb to their environment....and always the ‘show’ must go on.
Last election there were too many ...and we took too long streamlining the field. But then most likely it's rigged already and we'll all be given a ride again. I'd like to think not..but I have little confidence otherwise after this last election.
He is a hard core leftist who made a movie, Above the Law,in 1988, supporting leftist causes in Central America in the Cold War and denigrating and smearing the US Military and Intelligence services in the Vietnam war.
Nuff said.
first of all, he isn’t the brightest bulb in the chandelier. secondly, he’s a liar. So with all that in mind, I think he’s qualified to be a politcian.
He’s a jerk of the highest order. He’s fat and one of the worst actors ever.
I find it comical that you “take exception” to someone calling him names on his behalf.
It has been working so well with almost all lawyers, so why mess it up right?
That is the actress from Weird Science? If so... seagullpoop is a pos alec baldwin type.
