Dear God: I ask that no Airman, Coast Guardsman, Marine, Sailor, Soldier, Reservist, National Guardsman, or Merchant Marine feel alone or forgotten.
O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is loving kindness, And with Him is abundant redemption. And He will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.
Psalm 130:7 & 8

Oh, how big is one?
One prayer to one God by one Son on one Cross. “Father forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” Because of this prayer and this Son and this Cross our entire world and, even better, our entire eternity is changed.

Lord O God King of the Universe
We also ask that you teach our beloved Oysters how to hunt Starfish.
Amen.

If I were a starfish I would thank God for oysters. If I were an oyster, when my oyster soul went to oyster heaven God would tell me that He loved me because of how I benefited His starfish.

Isn’t 36 degrees fairly balmy for Alaska this time of year?

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Thanks very much, Kathy! It made it over the freezing mark today but has now dropped into the low 20's. I took my daughter Mary down to her digs in D.C. - I had to stow my walker in the rear hatch of the van because the slider was frozen shut. On my return home, I nearly slipped on ice getting out of the van.
Tomorrow is supposed to begin with freezing rain, changing to rain in the afternoon with temps around 40. Monday we're going back into the deep freeze - morning temps in the low 40's dropping through the 20's during the day and close to 0 overnight.
GRRRR! Gorebull Warming!

...And you know I’d try to get my sticky little fingers into Oyster Heaven. I might bring a Walrus and a Carperner or two, too.
