"Businesses will be on the hook to any state that decides to go after them.....you are right, but we are in the middle. So many things I need are not available in a local store but only are found on the web. It's not cheaper because of shipping or for not being taxed but simply it's the only place its available. Goverment is so greedy...

I live in a sales tax free state and have a small town retail store and also sell on the internet.

I so oppose the SSTI because it’s not just state sales taxes, it’s every city, county, and indian tribe tax jurisdiction that I would have to keep track of. Sure, there would be software, but it won’t be free, it won’t be completely accurate, yet I will be legally responsible and the burden of proof is on the business, not the state.

It will be like healthcare.gov... a complete fiasco and nightmare.

The whole thing just pisses me off. Most voters have no idea what is coming.
