Stores will stop making deliveries out of the town they are in because of the extra work of having account for each city and county tax.
The state has not notified retailers of this new requirement nut will penalize them for not complying. So consumers will pay more and get less.

We ain't got that stuff up here in the SemiFree state of NH. But I lived on the Border in Mass, shopped in NH and never paid a sales for 20 Years.

This is part of the Streamlined Sales Tax Initiative intended to tax internet sales. As more states adopt the SSTI standards, pressure grows on congress to pass legislation that will authorize states to collect sales tax from out of state vendors selling on the internet.
Completely hashing the idea of jurisdiction. Businesses will be on the hook to any state that decides to go after them. Compliance costs will skyrocket.
