He’s not a career politician - he never gets the job. Now he’ll flood WOR with his annoying ads during Rush’s show.
A “repub”? If he were a “Tea Party” candidate, perhaps he might have a better chance.
I meant wannabe. He may even be a good man—but once you are a politicians, that all changes. The system corrupts them faster than we can vote them out.

The tea party in NJ supported Lonergan. I voted for him! I knew he wasn’t going to win - he runs for every office in the state and loses it every time. At least, Rick Lazio knew when to give up.
More recent corruptions: Pat Toomey, Ron Johnson, Paul Ryan, and Marco Rubio.
Once a politician realizes what his true mission in life is, i.e. re-election, the deals are made, they take the money, and they are owned.
