Human Events has named Republican Rep. Darrell Issa of California "Conservative of the Year" for 2013 for holding the Obama Administration accountable for abuse of power in his work as the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Um... Other than an endless parade of Kabuki Theater, what has Issa actually done?

Granted, this opinion will change abruptly if he actually DOES something with all the testimony on all of the various hearings he’s held...

Like... File charges to impeach this entire Administration on RICO, Treason, and murder charges...

As far as I can tell: nothing.

Apparently supporting Amnesty is no longer a concern to Human Events.

One that doesn't support Amnesty would be a start.

He has been the barking dog. With the current political realities he is not really in a position to make substantive changes. filing contempt of congress charges against Holder knowing full well that it won't go anywhere was such an attempt.

Exposing the chicanery of this administration has laid the groundwork for their low approval rating and possibly a republican takeover in 2014. That is about all that can be expected when a party is out of power and is opposed by the media.

They are meeting to discuss special investigators for:

Fast and Furious

Abuse of Power of IRS

Awarding of ObamaCare contract.

Failure to provide support for Benghazi and Covering up the cause

Providing fake documents to show proof of constitutional eligibility for office

what did I miss?

Thank you, spot on!

What a contentious issue among FReepers, hope we can coalesce around a candiate so we don't get killed in 2016.
