I'm a little uncomfortable with that wording. It could be interpreted to mean that they think the feral goobermint isn't aggressive ENOUGH in meddling in the affairs of those of us who have jobs and create wealth.

Many poll results seem structured so that they can be twisted to mean the opposite of what they mean.

Exactly, this poll is difficult to figure the meaning. I have no doubt that some people are moving from a belief that government is increasingly less effective, but my own sense is that that movement is still small.
