Rep. Jim McDermott said Thursday that Democrats should adopt a “two-pronged approach” to their agenda and for the midterm elections this year — with one of the prongs involving Obamacare.
“I think there clearly is an exciting thing happening today,” Mr. McDermott, Washington Democrat, said on MSNBC. “For the first time many people have health care and that’s going to be an issue that Democrats I think can run on and be very proud of, and the other side’s going to have a hard time explaining why it isn’t good for people to have health insurance and be protected against previous problems they’ve had and getting their children covered. That’s going to be hard.”
The White House this week touted figures that showed more than 2 million people have selected health care plans through state and federal insurance exchanges, and almost 4 million learned in the first two months of the health care law’s rollout that they’re eligible for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program.

By mid summer, the msm will paint Obamacare as the comeback kid. It will be one of the grandest gifts the American people have ever received.
Only those directly, negatively impacted by Obamacare will have an inkling that the media is lying.

One of my co-workers told me of a conversation he had this morning with this wife.
She went to her regular local pharmacy to pick up a prescription. She commented to the pharmacy employee that she had expected the store to be pretty much empty, being it is Thursday morning.
She was told that it has been extremely busy today, with people coming in eagerly expecting to pick up their medication for free, or reduced rate under “obamacare” and finding they have no coverage. So far-no violence, but how long will that be the case
Now that would be an interesting place to just park your butt for a while. It would be as interesting as watching the Walmart crowd on Black Friday.
They’ll ramp up the chant that the Obamacare failure is the Republican’s fault. After all Republicans shut down the entire government including the D-Day cemeteries in France to mess up the ACA, didn’t they? The Republicans, especially the TEA Party, is doing nothing to fix Obamacare!
Republicans are not even part of the effort to write new legislation to fix what the last legislation fouled up!
Yeah, you do that ‘rats... Run on what a great idea, law, and implementation obamacare has been. Just gloss over the complete lack of compromise, how it is 100% rat. Better not mention the 16k new IRS agents. Better not mention the high costs and terrible coverages - don’t worry, few can get to it to see it for themselves anyway. Better not mention the net loss of 2 to 3 million more uninsured now... But sure, talk it up, run on it!
