As US Secretary John Kerry prepares to resume his efforts to achieve an agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, a PLO official announced Wednesday that the Palestinians would reject any framework accord that is presented by the Americans.
The top US diplomat was due to arrive to the region Thursday.
“Kerry will try to market a mysterious and nonconstructive framework agreement to the Palestinian Authority during his new tour,” said PLO Executive Committee member Tayseer Khaled.
Khaled accused the US of turning a blind eye to Israel’s practices on the ground in the West Bank and east Jerusalem.
He said that Israel’s measures undermine the peace process and prospects of establishing a sovereign Palestinian state.
Khaled said that the Israeli ministerial committee would not have been able to approve a bill supporting the application of Israeli law to settlements in the Jordan Valley had it not felt that it had the backing of Kerry.
The PLO official called on the PA leadership to inform Kerry of its opposition to any framework or interim agreement with Israel. He also called on the PA leadership to stop bidding on American sponsorship of the peace talks and demand international intervention, as was the case with Iran and Syria.
PA President Mahmoud Abbas, meanwhile, reiterated his threat to seek UN recognition of a Palestinian state should Israel pursue construction in the settlements.

The flimsy pretext for their rejection shows that they aren’t interested in peace, but then again, neither is Kerry.

Nobody will ever solve the Palestinian Israel problem, John Kerry is a dim witted fool to think he can.
The horse faced traitor should be recalled for his office as Secretary of State and tried for Treason.
Now just a cotton pickin’ minit here. Let’s be fair. Kerry was a dim witted fool long before he thought he could solve the Palestinian Israeli problem. In fact, that’s probably what got him the job as SOS in the first place.
Clearly Kerry needs to to apply more pressure on Israel to make concessions! /s

The Palie’s got their 100 plus terrorists released as Obama wanted, now they can go back and plan the next wave of killing Jews, with Obama’s blessing.
Meanwhile Israel should establish a law of capitol punishment for murders committed by terrorists. That will mean the next group of murderers pay for their crimes.
