OKLAHOMA CITY, Calif. — Oklahoma City Police responded to an armed robbery call at Head Honchos hair salon around midnight on the morning of Christmas Eve.
Police arrested 23-year-old Corneilyus Howeth for robbery with a firearm. Howeth also had a prior felony arrest.
Howeth forced the employees of the salon inside, telling them to empty their pockets. But when another employee distracted him, the owner of the salon tackled Howeth.
The two fought for the gun for a short time before other employees stepped in and helped take the gun from Howeth.
The employees then stripped Howeth of his clothes to make sure he wasn’t hiding more weapons and threw him outside.
Police showed up shortly thereafter to take Howeth into custody.
Is that dude looking `cool’ or are both eyes swollen shut as they blossom into fullblown shiners?
Too bad they didn’t post his nekkid @ss all over the internet. Street cred doesn’t do well that way.
That is one ugly mofo.
That boy needs to stay away from the purple drank.
He needs an Obamacare subsidy.
Looks like the boy got off easy. Facially beaten, lord knows
how many times he got kicked and stomped before getting tossed
out for trash pick-up. Kid would have been dead around here.

So the question is, what’s his take to heart lesson from this episode?
Be twice as vicious next time?
Do not be a fool and start stuff?
Like a rabid dog no second chance would have been my choice.
On another note:
I’m asleep in a little camper at my hunting property last Friday night. Somebody attempts, twice, to open the door.
Lock hasn’t worked for years and some buddies use it infrequently.
Got a little chain lock on the inside.
I’m asleep so it’s wa? huh? you trying to get in? Male mumbles outside the door.
Crap! Palm 1911 pull hammer, always chambered and off thumb safety, slide chain lock aside, step back and kick door open. Aim pistol at kid outside.
“Mr I need help” “I don’t even know where I am and I’ve been out here all night” “I’m freezing and I been sitting in the carport all night.”
So the kid is trying to break into my camper at 5:45am.
I had been out for a nature call and look around at 4:00am and didn’t see or hear a thing.
It was 30 degrees out and the kid was dressed in a tee shirt
and thin torn jeans.
“My buddies left me at the party and when the party ended I got tossed out.”
Gave the kid a coat and my cell to call momma to pick him up at the local stop and rob. Gave him a ride to the store with
my hand on the 380 in my left pocket.
You got to call them on the fly and keep yourself safe.

You're made of the right stuff, my friend. Good situational awareness, and the ability to properly assess the real situation. Good on you for giving that kid a helping hand. He's lucky it was you who was behind that door.
