Yeah, I did get that idea from reading it here. Brilliant, Rod! I’d love to help hand them out or join you. I have three ‘homo buddies’, whom I adore, and even they think they are being misrepresented by the obnoxious. Plus, it’s weird... They can’t stand the fems. Strange world....

I don’t like to make these things personal, and I really don’t want to get into why that might be true of you.

That may or may not be true of healthy people, but we were talking about people who suffer from a disorder, whose free will is impaired. For them, no, I don’t think it’s a choice. That’s what I understand the term “compulsion” to mean.
It is NOT a sin to deal with temptations, but it becomes SIN to fall into temptations traps.
Gakk. They shove it in your face at every turn. Not going to watch this. The Walking Dead marathon looks a lot more attractive.

Yes, but same-sex attraction disorder involves compulsions that are not the same in kind or intensity that the other 98% of the population encounters.
A mental disorder can rob a person of the ability to see a compulsion or a behavior for what it is, and it can destroy the strength of will needed to withstand any sort of temptation.
That old comic line (Flip Wilson?) “The devil made me do it” turns out to have a lot of truth to it.
I favor trying to strengthen such people and bring them back to normality. The Father of Lies says it can’t be done; my lying eyes tell me that it is frequently accomplished.
