Aubrey Loots and Danny Leclair joke that they're getting married New Year's Day in front of 80 million of their closest friends, and the men say they aren't that concerned that a few thousand others may boycott the first gay marriage at the 125-year-old Rose Parade.
The Pasadena Tournament of Roses, which puts on the parade, said in a statement that it is proud to have the AIDS Healthcare Foundation's float, adding it clearly represents this year's parade theme, "Dreams Come True."
"Like all of our sponsors and float designers, AHF continues to help make the Rose Parade a premier event through original and creative expressions that connect to parade themes," the statement said.

What channel is the parade on? Who is its biggest sponsor? That’s who we should be boycotting. If we started this 10 days ago, the sponsor would have pulled back advertising and the float would never have seen the TV screen.

Sinful it undoubtedly is, but I don’t think it is a lifestyle or a choice.
It is a disorder induced by trauma. A boy usually has no choice in being traumatized, and after he develops same-sex attraction disorder, he has little or no choice regarding his compulsion to engage in loathsome perversions.
It is very difficult for a healthy man to remain celibate; how could a man who has a psychosexual disorder to begin with hope to keep himself under control?

It really ought to... My uncle, known for his ability to mock the absolute ridiculousness of society, would have no qualms at all taking a vuvuzela to a parade (before they were made [un]popular during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He also had an elk call he would take to these sort of parades or ball games and just wail on it for the sheer lunatic factor... because he loved to get a rise out of those that need to be ridiculed.

the best solution is to v-chip the broadcast and deny the ratings.

that is why they stuck this at the end of the parade. If the gross-fest was first, the tv’s would be turned off and away. advertisers would scream.
