Yup. Obama/Reid threatened to shut down the government if they didn’t get their way. And they followed through. But the weakling RINOs wimped out as usual.

Ted is exactly correct, and everybody knows it. Most don’t have the nerve to say it, so puppy-whipped to either cheerlead for the Obamination or give up your right of expression, so those who hate you (anyway) wont be openly mad at you.

Government “SLOW DOWN” is a much more accurate phrase.
But why worry about the truth.
The Republican dominated House did its job to keep the federal government running by sending bill after bill to the Senate which funded the entire federal government except Obamacare. The irresponsible Democrat dominated Senate refused to do its duty to keep the federal government running. And Obama gleefully implemented a shut down crafted to “punish” America instead of serving it by maintaining minimum essential functions of federal government.
Were we still a Constitutional Republic, our citizens would be howling for Democrats’ blood and impeachment & removal of that illegal alien in the White House!
Let me guess. Na, I don’t need to. It was Dingy Harry Reid who refused to consider anything that came from the House.
I believe that’s been Cruz’s position all along.

The Houston Chronicle and every other MSM outlet was telling us over & over the GOP was gonna take it in the throat. Why would anyone believe the republicans went ahead then and caused it to happen?

Reid had the full backing of the poser in chief who made it clear he would not negotiate. Dictatorial behavior at it’s worst.
