Chuck Wooten, a military veteran, was already ticked off about Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) pushing through the “bipartisan” budget deal, which includes cuts to veterans’ retirement benefits. So when he got a fundraising email from Ryan’s office asking for money, he decided to really let the Wisconsin congressman know how he feels. The scathing open letter, posted on Facebook last week, is going viral — and you only have to read the first few sentences to know why.

Save the effort... I am too experienced to buy into that any longer. I will only vote for Conservatives for the rest of my life.

Yes, I don't know why Ryan picked out the veterans, of all people, to make an issue out of.

How about going after those on welfare?

there will be no issue to derail the GOP until 2014?

let Ryan get his way on amnesty and the republicans will lose the house and the senate....enjoy that disaster

Agreed, amnesty is not a winning issue for republicans running in 2014. But in 2016 presidential election year, it could be a losing issue for candidates opposed to any amnesty. My reasons are it will energize democrat voters and many independents and a few republicans who personally know some illegals and favor granting them legal status.

Don’t get me wrong on personal level. I am personally 100% for following laws and no amnesty to those who break it.

Ryan has seen what government shutdown did to republicans a few months back.

Then he's blind...it did nothing.
