Patty Murray (D-Wash.) pushing through the bipartisan budget deal, which includes cuts to veterans retirement benefits. Agreed, amnesty is not a winning issue for republicans running in 2014. But in 2016 presidential election year, it could be a losing issue for candidates opposed to any amnesty. My reasons are it will energize democrat voters and many independents and a few republicans who personally know some illegals and favor granting them legal status.
Don’t get me wrong on personal level. I am personally 100% for following laws and no amnesty to those who break it.

ryan is a progressive and that is the reason that romney picked him... he is not now nor has he ever been one of us.
