A&E Welcomes Phil Robertson Back to 'Duck Dynasty'

Phil Robertson, the patriarch of A&E's Duck Dynasty clan who was suspended from his hit reality series on Dec. 18 following some incendiary comments about gay people, won't be put on hiatus after all.

We won’t know for a long while. Season five was done before this positive outcome for A&E. A&E are so dang smart. What a brilliant strategy before Christmas. Their merchandise was flying off the shelves.

Why Paul Deen didn't have the backing that Phil Robertson had makes one wonder why. Was it because she supported and voted for obozo? I was surprised about that. And what she was accused of saying ultimately had to do with a disgruntled employee. She has the right to express herself. Too bad it was heard by a disgruntled black employee. Have you ever heard what blacks say about whites, to their faces and with abandon? Or, how blacks talk among themselves about whites? Did the Food Network ultimately want to get rid of her? Don't know.

LOL! I know right? You have to figure did A&E not know the kind of guy Phil Robertson was? Of course they did. And was this the first time he let his beliefs known? Of course not. But throw in Phil is “suspended” or “fired” and get the media types to play it up, call up GLAAD ask them to be outraged blah blah and walla ratings go through the roof. This worked out better than they could have hoped.

Phil was stating Biblical beliefs and professing his Christian faith. Paula was being bitchy about blacks all those years ago. The difference is that Christians stood up for the Christian who risked it all. Paula is hardly a Christian standing up for our faith in that instance. And you are right to note her liberal voting roots, she was eaten by her own. Fitting.
