The topic of whether a gay player would be accepted in a NFL locker room is probably overblown. Players like teammates who can help them win. The rest is trivial.
This is shown by the 1993 Houston Oilers. The Houston Chronicle ran a tremendous oral history on that wild season and team (it's excellent, check it out, as was the NFL Network's "A Football Life" episode on the '93 Oilers), and in it there's a revelation that the Oilers had at least two gay players.

And, maybe Spencer Tillman. He was from Oklahoma, and EVERYONE in Texas knows "Only two things come from Oklahoma: Steers and Queers."

How queer. In other news I heard they recently banned the burning of faggots in San Francisco. People object to the smoke.

Flew into Houston that day for a house hunting trip and when I landed the Oilers were killing the Bills - by the time I got to the hotel and got the TV on, Houston had had their asses handed to them by the Bills......unreal! Will never forget that day!

I was working for law enforcement in Houston and yes, that is true.....all the HPD did was come out and say that the survivor killed himself because he was so full of guilt - bottom line is that his “thingy” was in the mouth of the dead passenger.
