Jesse Jackson attacks Duck Dynasty star for “white privilege”
Legal Insurrection ^ | December 26, 2013 | Laurel Conrad

Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. is speaking out against Phil Robertson, star of A&E’s reality show “Ducky Dynasty,” claiming that Robertson’s comments to GQ reflect “white privilege.”

Jackson even compared Robertson to the bus driver who ordered Rosa Parks to move to the back of the bus in a statement obtained by ABC News:

“These statements uttered by Robertson are more offensive than the bus driver in Montgomery, Alabama, more than 59 years ago”

Jackson went on to state that,

“At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law. Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’”

According to ABC, Jackson is urging A&E to uphold Robertson’s suspension and requests an urgent meeting with A&E and Cracker Barrel executives.

Rainbow PUSH Coalition members picketed outside the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant in Matteson on Friday, days after the restaurant chain announced it would be selling Duck Dynasty merchandise in its stores once again.

Known for its country-fried dishes and down-home aesthetics, the national restaurant chain pulled the gear from its shelves earlier this month after Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson disparaged gays in the January edition of GQ magazine. The 67-year-old Robertson also said that while growing up in Louisiana before the Civil Rights movement, he never saw mistreatment of blacks.

I’m not sure he has a coherent rationale on anything, 2DV. Trying to find logic in insanity is rarely productive.

A war of attrition is no less a war than armed ranks standing opposed to one another on a battlefield.
One or two victims at a time, as with this knockout attack model, are still victims.
At some point, there must be an accounting, a settlement of the books. And, it will be bloody, I fear.

Yes it will be bloody, much of it, our blood. With the Obungler purging the military of good people, we might be fighting the Army. Remember, those scum bags want to kill off about 25 million of us.
