I think what bothers me the most about this video is not the old lady getting slammed to the ground... I can’t tell exactly what happened, as the video quality sucks...

However, that older cop at the end was CLEARLY wrong to stand in front of the man making the video, and telling him not to do so but it’s still allowed, all while demanding the dude’s name. I’ll bet if the dude moved to try to get the other policemen into the frame the old cop would have moved to prevent it. In fact, If he did I think the old cop would have got physical with the videographer. It’s clear to me he knows the guy is getting something they are doing wrong on video. Clear intimidation under color of law. This officer is the one that should be fired first.

But I also think that Cops have a special obligation to preserve life limb and property.

Was that one dumb drunk? Yup. She was.

She was also a dumb drunk old lady. You know, the kind the Boy Scout helps across the road.

If these cops were real men, they would take a drubbing from the old broad and get her safely into the car. Tomorrow she will sober up and feel like a real horses azz. Or maybe she won’t. Doesn’t really matter to me.

These cops should act like men, not just Union thugs pulling a shift. If they can’t do that they should go do the only other thing they are qualified for: Night watchmen or grocery bagger.

And I'm also the brother of a victim who was killed by a 19 year old drunk kid, high on drugs and who tried to flee the scene............

I have no problem with DUI arrests but if they're going to resist arrest then they deserve whatever befalls them...........

I don't see any excuse for abusing an old lady who is cuffed and too drunk to put up much of a fight.

I am very sorry for what happened to your brother, and how it affected your family.

However that cannot justify wanton violence. We do have criminal courts for that and though I know they can’t fix what happened, neither can Police administering extra curricular justice because “they can”.

Having said that,It IS NOT their job to punish the drunk drivers. It is their job to apprehend them. You obviously enjoy the cops handing out a little punishment on top of that.
