WRONG!

A 70 yr old woman NEVER deserves that treatment.

Your assertion that she was “resisting arrest”, assume facts not in evidence.

It’s my personal opinion that the boot lickers here will be the French collaborators of America when the SHTF

Stop with the resisting arrest bull sh*t....

A 72 year old woman can die or be seriously injured from just a simple fall, let alone being slammed to the concrete by a male half her age...

If these two *trained* professionals can not even control or cuff an elderly woman, without resorting to reckless, undue and unreasonable violence, they have no GD business doing what they’re doing.

End of story

My Brother Scott

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. That, however, doesn't give the cops the right to play judge, jury and executioner.

I honestly think that you need professional help to deal with your loss.

They seem to lack even basic common sense.

In the real world, people would be sent to jail and serve hard time for that type of reckless unreasonable violence against an elderly person.

It is my understanding that these steroid things these kiddie cops are gulpin’ down can cause a ‘flash’ temper spike when they get in a tense type situation. It looked like this one went from doing a decent job of handling the situation to a complete Haystacks take down in about a half second! I guess he didn’t see a doggy within range so he made sure his rage ‘fix’ was taken out on this older defenseless woman

Not during the initial stop, no, but when brought to the second cop car, she definitely was slammed to the ground.

HT, you are simply going through the “badge-licking” crap a number of us did a week or so ago on another incident. The only argument I have with your position is the second “slamming”; otherwise, I agree with you. :-)

If my brother was killed that way i would under and over react for years. Life can really throw curves. My Dad died 42 years ago when i was a kid. I am still angry about that. Not rational but still angry. Not looking for therapy here just showing empathy for our FRiend.

I feel empathy for him too, as I said. But I also feel empathy for the victims of wilding cops. And I especially feel empathy for the gradually increasing worry all over the country that is leading to a Gestapo-like chronic fear of the police, while they receive federal military vehicles, tanks, battle armor, drones, explosives, and unnanounced combat training in civilian environments.

You don't have to be a genius to see where this is going. The privatization of prisions has now led to lawsuits against states for not providing enough prisoners per the specified contracts. There doesn't seem to be any stoppage in sight for a military buildup that not only isn't hiding itself, but that was announced to be intended to be bigger than our entire military by our dear president. The country is being turned into a prison, openly, and that makes us prisoners - openly.

Which would be bad enough. But when I see cheerleaders for it, their personal issues are IRRELEVANT. You think nazi's didn't have families they cared about, deaths and illnesses and trying times? Do think ANY of that matters concerning what they DID?

I do not.

I don’t think I understand your question. At one time, I was a soldier. I was never a cop. Why is that relevant? Again, I am not sure I follow what you are saying or asking.

I was also a soldier for awhile, but I don’t presume I know much about being a police officer.

Each of these cases stand on their own. Sometimes the police make bad decisions, in the seconds they have to respond.

And more often they handle matters, perfectly.

The same is true for all fallible humans.
