A top financial advisor, worried that Obamacare, the NSA spying scandal and spiraling national debt is increasing the chances for a fiscal and social disaster, is recommending that Americans prepare a bug-out bag that includes food, a gun and ammo to help them stay alive.
David John Marotta, a Wall Street expert and financial advisor and Forbes contributor, said in a note to investors, Firearms are the last item on the list, but they are on the list. There are some terrible people in this world. And you are safer when your trusted neighbors have firearms.

EFFECTIVE AND QUIET.

“Bug out to where?”
I think of it as more of a bag, in my car, that will help me get home in the event I’m out when the SHTF.
That’s curious.
I’d think that in a national chain like WalMart it would show up everywhere at once, more-or-less.
They'll have to arm-wrestle my ex-wives and their lawyers for my retirement savings.

I started getting ready 3+ years ago. The writing was on the wall with W; now it’s a flashing neon sign.
I found out by looking at tax records that I am charged more taxes than any other townhouse here. I have a copy of the architect's drawing for these places and saw my garden area is larger than all the others. No one can see another person's garden due to the high brick walls dividing the houses in the back. Having a copy of the plans allowed me to see every back garden of the houses. It was because my townhouse is wider than the rest and the physical layout of the land behind me, that I have the larger garden.
Since I started to grow food plants in containers last year, I am glad to have every square foot back there, plus no one can see it.
I lived in another county before I moved here and in that prior county, I was known to everyone due to our prominence of running the Republican Party there. We lived in a “glass house” as everyone knew where we lived and we were watched all the time. There are some seriously bad dudes there that run the other party and I wouldn't feel safe in that county. My car was followed by these people and they knew where I was every day. Due to that experience, I submerged myself in this county and stayed out of the public eye.
I am a nothing here except to a few who run the Republican Party here and even those don't know I am a prepper. I don't want to be anything here, I just want to live incognito. I mean, it's pretty bad when the only Christmas present I got was what I bought for myself (think diamonds). My son did send a beautiful Christmas bouquet since he lives in London. I got him a big new type Leatherman, not knowing an airport took his when he had to leave where he was filming to get to London quickly to accept an award he was given. He forgot his Leatherman was in his pocket and the airport had to take it from him.
The point of what I have written, is, it's best if you appear to others as a regular person who doesn't know jack about what is happening in the country or that the country could collapse in a minute if someone, like our Muslim freaking president, flips a switch and turns off the internet. He can also turn off your TV right now and doesn't have to turn it back on unless he wants to tell you what to do. Don't get me started on that Muslim destroyer.
Oh, the fun that little sentence suggests.....

They won’t have to arm wrestle anyone. There have been negotiations on the process in Congress already. They’ll work directly with the banks. One day they’ll freeze the accounts and convert the 401Ks and IRAs to bonds, no questions asked.
But there will be hell to pay....

The way things are going I don’t expect bugging out to be a good option. We’re probably in for a slow decline into anarchy. People in rural areas will be overwhelmed by govt officials looking for hoarders and people looking to steal. There’ll likely still be gas available for a while.
Could be wrong, but somehow I think some of my money and yours went to put in a couple of those windows in that shot-out building.
That is some good stuff.
These Nazis will not make it long in rural America.

Yep, I’ve looked at a number of them. What isn’t out of stock is base grade at premium price.
I’ll keep looking, after a theft a number of years ago, I’m approaching base levels again, not enough that I’m comfortable shooting it up but not ready to panic buy yet.
