The Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. has stepped into the “Duck Dynasty” uproar, using the case of civil rights hero Rosa Parks to make his case against show star Phil Robertson. “At least the bus driver, who ordered Rosa Parks to surrender her seat to a white person, was following state law,” Jackson said in a statement, according to the Chicago Tribune. “Robertson’s statements were uttered freely and openly without cover of the law, within a context of what he seemed to believe was ‘white privilege.’”

I don’t see where the personal recollections of Mr. Robertson about his youth in rural Louisiana has anything to do with the liberal theory of “white privilege”.

Mr. Jackson really doesn’t understand his own half-baked “critical race theory” and seems to be just spouting academic buzzwords that will make him look intelligent and insightful and could result in a nice pay day from A&E.

He’s wrong about looking intelligent over this, but he probably does have insight into what A&E is likely to do and this may well pay him off handsomely. He’s been at this a long time.

I wonder if, before he finally is carted off by Satan to do his eternal sentence in Hell, will ole Jesse Jackass come clean and admit that when he heard MLK was shot, that he rushed to his side, quietly choked MLK so he’d die quicker and then smeared some blood on himself to make it look like he was there for the whole thing?
Not that the admission will commute his sentence, but it’ll help future historians clarify how such a worthless pile of useless horseshit got to be so “powerful”.
