There isn't a majority that opposes the Affordable Care Act because it's too liberal, in fact, a good number of Americans don't think it's liberal enough.
Todays CNN poll (PDF) on the Affordable Care Act seems like a blow to supporters of the law. When asked if they generally favor or generally oppose the presidents health care overhaul, only 35 percent say they favor. The large majority65 percentsay they oppose.
For Republicans who have staked their entire message on opposition to Obamacare, this looks like vindication. Not only was the rollout a disaster, but now, the public has turned decisively against the effort. Why would they stop the attacks and calls for repeal if Americans are united in disdain for the law?
The problem for Republicansand the good news for supportersis that the results are a little more complicated than they look. In addition to the binary question about support or opposition, CNN also asked respondents to explain their position on the law. Do they oppose the legislation because its too liberal, or do they oppose it because its not liberal enough.

How about this idea? You can’t get Obamacare unless you pay income taxes.
Stupid push poll.
After the majority say they hate it, they ask if they want free stuff.
There is no way to give everyone free healthcare and they wouldn’t want the taxes to pay for it.
Any government program requires lots losers for every winner.
The Daily Beast - Newsweak
is there really any difference?
Stalinsts lie. ALWAYS.
If 65% oppose obamacare and 15% oppose it because obamacare’s not liberal enough, then 50% oppose obamacare because it is too liberal.
That basic math means the Republicans are sitting REAL pretty come November 2014, especially because right now is just the lull before the Cat 5 hurricane called “BamaKare” hits the U.S. next year, because in early 2014, horror stories will start emerging about people with obama-cancelled insurance not being able to continue their chemotherapy or dialysis treatments, trauma patients being denied care at designated trauma centers, and hospital emergency departments being swamped with people unable to see their doctor.
This will start happening in January, become a deluge in February, and turn into a tsunami of death and suffering by March 2014, at which time voters will start hunting Democrats down in the streets with pitchforks and dogs. And a well-deserved hunt it will be too, because people are going to needlessly die as obamacare sends our existing health care system spiraling into complete and total chaos.
All the Republicans need to do is twiddle their fingers until the Democrats BEG them to fix obamacare, at which point the Republicans need to carry through on their promises to repeal and replace it. And if the Republicans betray us and don’t do that, it is the end of the Republican Party.
The answer to EVERY failed liberal program is more money and more government.
” not liberal enough” 15%
Of course it depends upon what “liberal” means!
15% meaningless.
While the author of this piece bloviates on about how a large number of Americans think that Obamacare is not “liberal enough”, nowhere does he specify what that means. So this article contains a few hundred words of nothing.
“Canada has cheap rotten care with long waiting lists, or good expensive care if you drive a few miles south to the US.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
That probably won’t last long, the care isn’t always that great now in this country.
Someone needs to point out that the Democrats are lying again. There IS no Santa Claus and they are robbing from everyone to give out "freebies".
Future generations are tens of thousands in debt from the day they are born.
Merry Christmas to all.
