All I want for Christmas is for black holocaust deniers to eat the crap that comes out of their mouths, Sarah Palin for example.
When the acclaimed journalist Martin Bashir was a sports reporter on "The Voice" newspaper 25 years ago, neither I nor any of his colleagues could have tipped him to be one of the most celebrated TV correspondents of his generation.
In fact, he was a bit of a tasty geezer in those days with a broad cockney accent that belies his current clipped vowels.
All that changed when a certain princess called up the Panorama programme and Martin happened to be sitting in the BBC studios in White City and picked up the phone. Its the kind of call that every journalist dreams about but only happens in newspaper fairyland. It was the call that changed his career and turned him from being a hack grinding out a living in the media, to a superstar journalist with a million dollar a year pay packet.
No, Im not jealous. And even if I am, I have to give respect to the man for standing up and being counted when the failed vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin compared federal taxes in the U.S. to slavery.
Over the last few weeks we have been inundated with slavery stories that seem to suggest that the kidnapping, rape and torture of our forefathers/mothers in the so-called Atlantic slave trade was akin to being subjected to cleaning up the mess in a flat in Brixton.
If I was a conspiracy theorist I would suggest that there is a concerted effort to minimise the inhumane and cowardly treatment of our foremothers/fathers to justify, or at the very least, make the enslavement of Africans more palatable in these politically correct modern times. Not just here in Europe but in the United States too.
That is where the one-eyed cat peeping in a seafood store comes in. Sarah Palin knew very well what she was doing when she compared the pain of paying taxes with the pain of enslavement that the United States of America is built on.
She was telling white Americans that slavery was no big deal - no need to lose sleep over what your forefathers did.
Martin Bashir couldnt stomach it any more. Despite the fact that he was on a million dollars a year contract, he stood up for all of us who are the descendants of enslaved people and told her that she should have a taste of her own medicine - the excrement that enslaved people were forced to eat by sadistic slave owners.
Now, whats so wrong about that you ask? Martin was only saying what so many black journalists were thinking but didnt have the balls to say.
You see, to some of you, we black journalists are coconuts who have sold our people down the drain. But hold on. Are we not black? Do we not have hearts? If you cut us do we not bleed? Do we not feel the injustice?
Yes, we do, and sometimes it gets so much that we stop munching on a Bounty bar and kiss goodbye to our huge salaries so that we can speak up for our people. Thats what you lot put us in these positions of power to do, isnt it?
What the hell is a Dotun Adebayo and how did he/she get into my country?
I’d like to know when black people acquired sole title to the institution of slavery.
If you go back far enough, we are all descended from both slaves and slaveowners.
“Black Holocaust” ? I don’t see any mention of abortion in the article.
Not sure what that means nor do I think I want to.
But the author (term used loosely) needs to taste his own crap.
Hes some racist unctuous bumpkin from the U.K. who should refrain from visiting this Nation for the duration.
his MIGHT...... be considerer FIGHTING WORD in the U.S
Id like to know when black people acquired sole title to the institution of slavery.
And of course there were no indentured servants, white slaves, in England or America right?
Just another Useful Idiot.
The journalistic equivalent of a camera down a sewer.
I certainly don't.
First, why is it objectionable that Sarah Palin used slavery as an example of something bad? Second, blacks do not own the term slavery there were slaves in all ancient cultures. Third, she did not deny slavery. Fourth, Jews usually would be offended by misuse of “holocaust”.
Fifth, I’m so sick of this crap.
The author and Piers Morgan should get a room and take that other obnoxious twit, Bashir, with them.
Ghastly and cruel things to Negroes did go on during antebellum times and you know what... it was what we call Democrats today who stood up for it.
The all-absolving act for those Democrats in black political eyes was the welfare state. Now those “niggas” (JFK quote I believe... I’m not calling them that myself) are on the bribery plantation.
I guess Palin was wrong in a way. Being taxed is not as enslaving as being bribed with your own taxes.
“What the hell is a Dotun Adebayo ..”
Never heard of it? There’s a reason.
As they said in “New Jack City”, this person needs to sit his/her five-dollar a** down before somebody makes change.
This is the same type of person who’s all over Phil Robertson right now, in all likelihood.
Huh?
What does a penis about to engage in intercourse have to do with it?
That at least is my understanding of the expression as used by Big Joe Turner.
The black holocaust was started by a racist. You might have heard of her organization. It’s called Planned Parenthood, and liberal Democrats worship it.
Right. There.
Blacks robbed themselves by believing in the white devil known as a Democrat (or the "allowed" token black politician) and by and large are too stupid to even know it; just like that white devil wants it.
Here is what democrat/liberal politicians have foisted on America:
"Hood life"
Points if you can count the "n" word usage.
The black holocaust was started by a racist. You might have heard of her organization. Its called Planned Parenthood, and liberal Democrats worship it.
“Abortion and racism are evil twins, born of the same lie. Where racism now hides its face in public, abortion is accomplishing the goals of which racism only once dreamed. Together, abortionists are destroying humanity at large and the black community in particular.”
Alveda King
Approximately when Je$$e Jack$son took the mantle from Dr. King and directed the "movement" to where he could make the most money.
