This stupidity is never going to end is it?
Not likely. It can be abated to a significant degree, but I don’t think those opposed to the pushing of the liberal agenda are willing to take the necessary steps.
The soul-corruption runs deep.
Once you’ve lost the ability to distinguish right from wrong, good from evil, up from down, the simple text of a law or constitution loses its meaning as well.
There is no rule of law separate from the moral foundation it must rest upon.
I was looking for the John Semmens byline.
The irony is lost on this stupid bastard.
This stupidity is never going to end is it?
Actually, Wanderer99, there are two obvious scenarios for its end:
1.) All pretence of the rule of law comes to a screeching halt, and the feral government reigns supreme.
2.) We, the people declare independence from the oligarchy now in charge of America, reestablish the original Constitution, and get on with our lives.
“An Obama appointee to the federal bench ruled Friday that the right to same-sex marriage is deeply rooted in the nations history”.....
No need to wonder why this country has been so screwed up when a seven year old can tell you that judge is stupid.
Those that actually believe in GOD know that it will end and we know how it will end. No man knows when.
No, it's only deeply rooted in his anus.
No amount of indoctrination can overcome the "gag instinct" that comes naturally following this statement.
Therein lies the problem for the democrats with this whole farcical argument.
Some people believe it is a sin. Sorry.
Next: polygamy.
Next: Incest.
The list is long.
“This right is deeply rooted in the nations history and implicit in the concept of ordered liberty because it protects an individuals ability to make deeply personal choices about love and family free from government interference.”
Ok...such bs.
Since the judge seems to depend on this “logic” as a core underpinning of his decision, can that be attacked in an appeal?
Its fairly obvious that homosexuality was never a thought to the founders nor in their wildest dreams a right.
Also, the fact that there are marriage laws at all IS a government interference...Should we just not have any laws about it, then?
Hmmmm....
Wasn’t homosexuality a hanging offense at the time the Constitution was write? Didn’t it remain so until the 1940’s when it was deemed a mental illness? So how can a behavior that has been practiced by criminals and crazies have deep roots in tradition in any beneficial way?
I’m guesssing here that the Constitution of the United States of America never came into play in determining whether the law was Constitutional.
What is deeply rooted in America is the utter stupidity and ignorance of most federal judges.
Liberals cannot be trusted with power. They have no concept of restraint. They will abuse it every time.
I've said before on this website, and I'm beginning to think I can git 'r done now - I'm going to find a cat that some crazy cat lady left $10 million to, and "ask the court to hold that the State cannot prohibit them from exercising their existing right to marry on account of the sex species of their chosen partner".
Who are you to question my love?
I am quite sure that the cat will be struck with a sudden illness and I will be a rich, broken hearted survivor of the world's first inter species marriage. I will be a pioneer, and will have done well by doing good, as liberals always say. Note that I only changed one word in the article's language.
Reductio ad absurdum (fancy language for /sarc)
Why is this judge not walking down an isolated road dressed in nothing but tar and feathers!
