On Sunday, just two days after announcing it would be pulling some Duck Dynasty products featuring Phil Robertson from its stores, Cracker Barrel announced that it had reversed itself and would reinstate all Duck Dynasty products. In an announcement via Twitter, Cracker Barrel wrote:
Dear Cracker Barrel Customer:
When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offen

It's all about negative and positive reinforcement. They caught hell from us (negative reinforcement) when they made their initial decision about Phil Robertson products. We need to reward them now (positive reinforcement) for correcting that bad decision. Others will learn from our treatment of Cracker Barrel.
LOL! No indeed. I spent many years in LA and FL. That’s just what the libs think you folks from down there. I should have put the old “/s” at the end. I’d sooner trust folks from the south than a whole bunch of libs.
Beans and greens-- pintos cooked in ham, greens cooked In ham, corn muffins, chow-chow, sliced onions and pepper vinegar. Yum, yum.
A point worth noting. I picked up a DVD from the Duck Commander site earlier today just to show some support.
A&E needs the Robertsons more than the family needs A&E. They are already multimillionaires from their entrepreneurial ventures, so they will be fine. The A&E money is just gravy.
It's very unlikely that A&E will luck out and fill the DD void with another show that goes on to become the most watched show in cable history.
JC Penny's found out the painful lesson and I hope you do as well.
I'm sorry for those who depend on you for their paychecks but there are other employers out there who don't think gouging out the eyes of their own customers to please a infinitesimal bunch of bigots makes good market sense like Cracker Barrel does.
I ll be visiting a Cracker Barrel soon
But do more homosexuals work there than Phil Robertson fans, especially in management?
I have always liked Chick-Fil-A.
Send an on line note of your support for Duck Dynasty ...

With this, I’m kind of over Cracker Barrel.
We’ve been loyal customers for YEARS, traveling on the roads. But no more.
Most of the crap they sell in their gift shop, if not all of it, is always, always made in China.
Actually, that bothers me even more than their support for homosexuals over their regular customers.
Think I’ve lost my appetite for good.
Sadly, we’re well aware of political correctness up here. I think we’re worse than America for following along. We don’t have a Bible belt with a voice. Canadians tend to be far more sheepish - whatever people hear on the CBC, they spout the next day.
We do, however, have Sun News. People call it Fox North, but it is far more hard-hitting than Fox. Far more brave.
A very Merry Christmas to you as well - and all the best surviving another year of the Obamanation.
Not good enough. I want to see some viable companies go down because of their short sighted decisions.
Cracker Barrel decided to jump in front of everybody and support Anus sex.
Cracker Barrel takes on a whole new meaning.
“You are “that guy”
Olive branch rejected. Okay.
“I studied this crap in college, too.”
Well, you should have studied harder, because you got it wrong.
“I do want to hear it from you.”
You already did. I explained the difference between punishment and negative reinforcement.
“That’s why I asked.”
I don’t know how I can be any clearer.
Here are some things other people posted on the net.
“Negative Reinforcement strengthens a behavior because a negative condition is stopped or avoided as a consequence of the behavior.
ex: a rat is shocked until it presses a lever in the cage, the shock stops. when it lets go of the lever, the shock starts again. therefore, the rat learns to hold the lever down in order to avoid being shocked.
Punishment, on the other hand, weakens a behavior because a negative condition is introduced or experienced as a consequence of the behavior.
Example: a rat is in a cage and when it presses the lever, it is shocked. When it lets go, the shock stops. It learns not to press the lever so it wont get punished.
One of the easiest ways to remember the difference between the two is to note that punishment always involves reducing a behavior while negative reinforcement always involves increasing a behavior.”
In this case, we punished CB to reduce their sodomite-friendly behavior.
I’d rather be “that guy” than someone who would rather persist in error than correct it.
Out.
I think we agree, politically, about the Cracker Barrel topic.
However, you're a dick-head, and we won't agree on semantics.
So be it.
Merry Christmas.
“However, you’re a dick-head”
Boy, you try to do some people a favor, and what do you get?
They have my business again.
Only if they stay on the right side of the fence.
